Cheer Director

Hello and welcome to the 2018 season!

My name is Tara Crouch and I am the current Cheer Director for the OHFCL. I look forward to meeting your cheerleader and hope that we have an amazing season! This is my third year as Cheer Director, having taken over at the beginning of the 2016 Season. I have 3 years experience as a Head Coach, 1 year as an Assistant Coach, and 1 year as a stand-in Team Mom.

Our family was stationed here in 2012, for the second time and have always loved the area. We are originally from Washington state. My husband retired last year from the Navy, and we have decided to call Whidbey Island home. We have three children; one son who graduated in 2016, one who recently graduated, and a daughter who cheers in the league currently. This will be our sixth season with the OHFCL.

Our daughter expressed her interest in cheerleading after seeing some of the stunts the ladies were doing at a home game at OHHS in 2013 and has been cheering ever since. It was her love for cheer that brought us into the OHFCL, that we now call family. She has learned what it means to be part of a team, express spirit and compassion for others, and to work hard at something she loves. This will be her last year cheering for the OHFCL, but she hopes to continue at the high school level next year.

Our cheer program strives to instill core values into our cheerleaders. We teach hard work, good sportsmanship and focus on encouraging others and being a supportive teammate. We want our children to look back on their time with the OHFCL fondly and to make life-long friendships!

I hope that the OHFCL can provide as an incredible experience for YOUR cheerleader, as they have for my own!

If you have any questions or concerns about our cheer program, please feel free to email me at

We look forward to seeing you and your family on the field!

Cheer Director,

Tara Crouch
